How one woman's journey from foster care became a foundation for thousands.
Mothers Who Care Foundation was founded in 2024 by Meighan Cole-Bailey.
Growing up in foster care and experiencing poverty changed the way she viewed the world. Through the eyes of a foster child, she learned the life-changing impact of compassion, opportunity, and one person choosing to care.
Those experiences became the foundation of her personal journey—from Foster Care to CEO™—and inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others.
Years later, while caring for her grandmother after a debilitating stroke, Meighan witnessed the challenges families face when navigating caregiving, accessing resources, and finding support.
Those experiences led to one simple belief:
“No one should have to face life's challenges alone.”
That belief became the foundation for Mothers Who Care Foundation.
Today, the organization continues to bring that vision to life by connecting communities, building partnerships, and creating opportunities that empower individuals and strengthen families.
